Bring your Veraset API key to SignalGuard to enrich the places signal with anonymized device-ping mobility data — a growing input for venue catchment and post-event dispersal pattern analysis.
What Veraset adds to SignalGuard
Veraset enriches the places signal in SignalGuard's Context pillar — one of the 50+ signals shaping the venue threat score. Where Foursquare and Placer describe a place catalog and historical attendance, Veraset adds raw anonymized device-mobility data: aggregate movement patterns through and around the venue's catchment, day-of-event arrival pulses, and post-event dispersal trajectories.
For SignalGuard, that lets the platform reason about how people actually move around a venue, not just how the venue sits in a place hierarchy. Pre-event, that surfaces arrival timing and primary corridors; post-event, it reveals which surrounding POIs absorb the dispersing crowd, which is operationally important for late-night neighborhood impact and ride-share staging.
Veraset coverage is data-residency-sensitive — typical procurement includes a residency review — and is best paired with a clear use-case approval inside the customer organization.
How the integration works
Paste your Veraset API key into the Veraset tile at /integrations. SignalGuard format-checks the key on submission (Veraset's API is partner-only) and stores it AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest. Real auth errors surface on first signal-time use.
Common use cases
- Stadium and arena catchment characterization at device-ping granularity
- Festival site arrival-pulse modeling for ingress-corridor planning
- Post-event dispersal mapping into surrounding entertainment districts
- Ride-share staging optimization at typical egress destinations
- Cross-event comparison at the same venue across a season or tour
- New-market venue catchment assessment before opening
What you need
A Veraset enterprise contract — typically $50K+/yr, often with a data-residency review. Begin at veraset.com for partner access and API credentials.
FAQ
Do I need a Veraset subscription? Yes — Veraset enrichment is BYOK-only. Without it, SignalGuard's places signal runs on its default catalog inputs.
Where do I add my key? In your SignalGuard workspace at /integrations. Open the Veraset tile and paste your API key.
Is my key secure? Yes. Keys are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest, decrypted only in server memory at request time, and never sent to the browser or logged.
