Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information SignalGuard collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the SignalGuard platform, websites, and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, work email, organization, and the events and scans you create. We also collect usage and device information automatically, including log data, IP address, browser type, and the pages you interact with, to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to generate threat briefs and severity scores; to communicate with you about your account; to detect and prevent abuse; and to comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Signal providers

The Service draws on third-party public signal feeds. We do not share your scan data, event details, or account information with those underlying signal providers. Data retrieved from them is used solely to produce your briefs within the Service.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme. We use privacy-respecting analytics (with IP anonymization) to understand aggregate usage and improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Data sharing

We share information only with service providers who process data on our behalf (such as hosting and infrastructure vendors) under appropriate confidentiality obligations, when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. Any such sharing is limited to what is necessary for the stated purpose.

6. Data retention & security

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
