These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SignalGuard platform, websites, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by SignalGuard. By creating an account, running a scan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

1. The Service

SignalGuard fuses public signal feeds — social chatter, weather, airspace, wildfire, seismic, and crime-baseline data, among others — into a severity-scored threat brief for event security teams. The Service is an intelligence and decision-support tool. It does not replace professional judgment, emergency services, or your own safety procedures, and it must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any safety-critical decision.

2. Accounts & access

Access to the Service requires an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe present a security risk.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: (a) attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems; (b) resell, sublicense, or scrape the Service without our written consent; (c) use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others; or (d) use outputs of the Service in a manner that endangers individuals or property.

4. Data & signal providers

The Service aggregates data from third-party signal providers. We do not share your scan data with those underlying providers. Signal data is provided "as is," may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and remains subject to the terms of its originating source. Your handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice prior to your next billing cycle. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalGuard will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the Service or its outputs. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
